We offer you a position where you will lead the development and execution of reimbursement, funding and health policy strategies, to secure optimal access and development for designated Medtronic therapies in the UK and Ireland. As a key member of our UK&I HEPR (Health Economic, Policy & Reimbursement) team, you will be responsible for health economics, policy and reimbursement projects for selected therapies in the UK and Ireland. You will work closely with all relevant internal and external stockholders and be the contact point for related matters, especially with UK and Ireland operating unit country leaders. **

A Day in the Life**

  • Creates and executes comprehensive market access strategies through the integration of pricing and reimbursement, health technology assessment, real world evidence-based review, and health economic modelling activities.
  • Designs, develops, and implements an integrated approach to all aspects of the payer value proposition from early development through its lifecycle.
  • Communicates the unique attributes of the therapeutic area, in relation to respective healthtech devices, to external multi-stakeholders to ensure the health technology’s value proposition will be recognised and optimise market uptake.
  • Works collectively with payers, including HTA (Health Technology Assessment), reimbursement influencers and other decision makers to ensure the continuous changing reimbursement systems remain fair to all involved parties.
  • Guides the development of strategic outcomes research with the end-customer in mind to ensure that the results will favourably impact pricing, reimbursement, and market access as well as market uptake.
  • Works internally with Operating Unit’s Health Economics & Policy leads, to support the design of pricing strategy.

Must Haves

  • Master’s degree in Health Economics and/or Health Policy, Public Health
  • Senior level commercial/consultancy experience within HEPR area
  • Broad knowledge and experience in project management

  • Ability to work under minimum supervision, both individually and within a team
  • Great communication skills, positive attitude
  • Fluent English, both verbally and written
