Salary: £35,225 per annum plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working.**

Location: Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol, Cambridge, Manchester; Newcastle, Nottingham or Leeds (The role will be based at one of the office bases listed; however, we are operating a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members of the team, normally 1-2 days a week)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to manage the England-wide Museum Development programme. You'll be a self-motivated and experienced manager with demonstrable high quality programme management and relationship management skills. The Museum Development Programme Manager role comes with a salary of £35,225 and excellent benefits.

The Museum Development programme supports museums across England to develop and reach their potential. This is a key role at the centre of the Museum Development partnership. • Report to the Senior Manager, Museums and Cultural Property with strategic oversight of the MD programme
  • Work closely with an internal and external Museum Development team as well as with wider teams at Arts Council
  • Have formal line management responsibility for the Digital Learning role for the Museum Development programme.

You'll be rewarded with a salary of £35,225.00 and an excellent benefits package. Arts Council England provides world-class benefits. Some, not all, of our benefits can be found below:

  • A final salary pension scheme, 25 days plus bank holidays and annual winter closure (three days between Christmas and New Year) plus one additional day for each year of service up to 30 days
  • We also offer a buy/ sell annual leave option and flexible and hybrid working and well-being support
  • We also offer exclusive savings on the high street and online, as well as holidays, cinema tickets, gym membership, dining out and much more.
