Job description

MCS Group is excited to be working with a global company on their search for a Network Engineer/Project Engineer to join their team. This role will involve working with field technicians remotely so requires great communication skills, both written and verbal. This role will involve troubleshooting escalations from L2 support, support implementations/installs and close out projectsThis is a remote role but EST or CST location is needed. No sponsorship or C2C. Perm role not contract.The person:The right person will have, - Configuration experience with routers, switches, wireless access points etc - Experience with one or more: Cisco, Arubua, Meraki, Ruckus - Project experience - planning, design or implementation - Troubleshooting skills - Strong communication skills - Hospitality experience highly desired

The role: - Work directly field technicians to remotely assist on installs - Configure switches, routers, firewalls etc - Handle escalations from Tier 2 - Work on projects to vet upcoming installs - Closing out projects
