Tax Manager - Atlanta

Cherry Bekaert has been proudly providing Accounting and Advisory services to our clients for over 70 years. We are seeking a Tax Manager for our Atlanta location. We are looking for someone with C - Corporation / ASC 740 experience.

The successful candidate will manage the client’s tax compliance needs, anticipate tax and business issues, and recognize tax planning opportunities. Candidates should be accustomed to working as the main point of contact with the client and will be comfortable in managing workflows, deadlines, deliverables, and client communications. This role will also be responsible for training and developing less experienced professional staff. **

What your day looks like:**

• Management of C-Corporation income tax compliance engagements and providing knowledgeable review of complex C-corporation income tax returns
• Management and review of ASC 740 Income Tax Provisions
• Leading and developing both U.S. and international tax associates and seniors in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Demonstrating superior client service skills
• Work location aligned with your needs

What you bring to the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Masters preferred
• Must be CPA certified and have an active CPA license
• Minimum of 4 years' of experience in public accounting with a minimum of 2 years' of managerial experience
• ASC 740 experience is preferred, but not mandatory
• Demonstrated background in working with C Corporations
• Strong understanding of clients' businesses and industries

The salary range for this position is $80,000-$142,513. Individual salaries within this range are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.
