About the role:
Join K Health as we partner with the nations top rated hospital systems to close care gaps by launching completely Virtual Comprehensive Care Clinics. We are looking for full-time, Extended Care Clinicians who will deliver fully remote text and video based, on demand care encompassing acute care and pediatrics. The ideal candidate has state licenses in NJ (must have), NY, and PA. You will be responsible for providing extended and after hours care to our patients. You must be a board certified Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine physician. Work from the comfort of your own home and provide care to those who need it the most, backed by K Health's cutting edge Clinical AI Platform. Our virtual clinics are fully supported 24/7 by a dedicated team of Care Concierge, Clinical Operations, and technical support staff helping to greatly reduce your administrative burden.
What you'll be doing:
- Provide text-based and video-based, comprehensive clinical care that encompasses Acute Care, including pediatrics
- Treat patients on demand within an acute care virtual setting
- Educate patients on appropriate treatments and care plans for their health needs
- Prescribe medication and refills as appropriate
- Drive high quality care with a focus on patient outcomes
- Elevate remote care; provide compassionate and meaningful care
What we're looking for:
- 3+ years of post residency work experience
- Active State medical licenses in NJ, MN, IA (NJ is a must have to start)
- Board-Certified in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine
- Acute care experience
- Should be tech-savvy, proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and have telemedicine experience
- Clean background and medical malpractice history
- Willing to commit 40 hours per week, including two weekend days a month
