Data Technical Leader

Codeworks is an IT Services firm headquartered in SE Wisconsin, known for our strong commitment to quality and for our direct client relationships.

Who We’re Looking For: A senior level candidate with Data Technical Leader experience working with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Azure full development stack. This is a remote 18 month+ contract role. This role will be a right-hand person to the Data Architect running the project.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of innovative, scalable technical solutions aligned with project requirements and long-term goals.
• Assign and guide data and application development tasks, ensuring alignment with project timelines and individual skill sets.
• Implement and enforce coding standards, conducting thorough technical reviews, and ensuring comprehensive documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align architectural decisions with project goals and strategies.
• Manage resources effectively, including offshore/nearshore teams, for optimal utilization of skills.
• Demonstrate technical excellence, foster collaboration, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, proposing proactive solutions for project deliverables.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of learning and adaptation.

Qualifications:

• Requirements – Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, SQL Server, ADO CI/CD Pipelines and deployments, Azure DevOps for Agile Scrum, backlog grooming, managing on and offshore technical teams
• Skilled with .Net, React, Python, Azure full development stack
