This is your chance to join the dynamic Hilton Worldwide Sales (HWS) team as an in-house communications professional. As Director, Sales Communications, you’ll directly support the Senior Vice President & Global Head of Sales and will sit on the HWS Extended Leadership Team. You will align, engage and partner with the Corporate Affairs/Communications team while supporting Hilton Worldwide Sales (HWS) and its leaders. Your role will include inspiring, engaging, and educating HWS Team Members; improve understanding between HWS and internal brand and commercial partners; connect hotel sales leaders with HWS resources to help guide commercial success; and support select speaking engagements to owner and B2B customer audiences. **

How You Will Make An Impact

What Your Day-to-day Will Be Like**

  • Develop and manage a communications strategy and editorial calendar for Hilton Worldwide Sales initiatives.
  • Craft impactful communications materials and activations to support the communications strategy.
  • Support the SVP & Global Head of Sales with speaking engagements and presentations.

How You Will Collaborate With Others

  • Report to the Senior Vice President & Global Head of Sales and operate as an integral member of the Hilton Worldwide Sales senior leadership team while simultaneously working with the Corporate Affairs team.
  • Collaborate with internal functions on coordinating, writing, and deploying operational communications to corporate and hotel Team Members around the world; act as part of relevant project teams, including Hilton conferences.
  • Develop relationships with senior leaders across the Global Sales and Commercial Services teams to influence content and messaging.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Strategy & Planning team in the development of change management plans and communications for launch of major Sales initiatives.

What Projects You Will Take Ownership Of

  • Identify and execute opportunities to share the Hilton sales story with internal, hotel, management company, and owner audiences, and select customer and industry audiences.
  • Craft impactful messaging that aligns with the broader Sales and Hilton enterprise narrative; collaborate with main partners to identify compelling content and distill headlines across the organization.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You Have These Minimum Qualifications

  • Seven (7) years of experience in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Excellent Microsoft 365 skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneDrive, Teams, etc.)
  • Produce agency-quality writing and visuals on own
  • Travel - 25% (domestic and international)

It Would Be Useful If You Have

  • BA/BS bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or a similar field
  • Experience working with a large global organization and/or a mid-to-large-size communications agency
  • Experience within the travel, tourism, service industries, and/or sales field
  • Familiarity with B2B (business-to-business) hospitality sales
