Senior Multiline Adjuster - Catastrophe

As a senior multiline representative, you’ll be responsible for claims file handling in personal lines auto, commercial and special lines and travel to catastrophe locations. You’ll investigate, analyze, and determine the extent of Progressive’s liability concerning loss or damages specific to personal auto and/or multiline products and attempts to affect settlement with claimants. Multiline losses may involve motorcycle, watercraft, recreational vehicle, mobile home, snowmobile, or commercial auto claims resulting from catastrophic events (e.g. hail, hurricane, tornado, etc.). **

This position requires frequent travel across the country to catastrophe locations.**

Must-have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and a minimum of one year work experience in the automotive repair or insurance industry
• Instead of a degree a minimum of five years of work experience, some of which must be in the automotive repair or insurance industry
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance

• Estimating experience
• Catastrophe experience
• Special Lines experience

Schedule

• You’ll work on a rotational schedule with three weeks on and eight days off. Your shift will also include a Saturday or Sunday (10:00 AM – 9:00 PM EST during catastrophe hours and 10:00 AM– 7:00 PM EST when not working catastrophe hours).

Compensation

• $61,900-$82,500/year
• Gainshare bonus up to 24% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
• You may be eligible for additional pay during designated catastrophes. Catastrophe events may be declared for reasons such as volume resulting from weather and depending on business need
