Job Title: Data AnalystLocation: Remote

Our mission is to empower and enrich the lives of our students, fostering an inclusive environment that promotes growth, independence, and lifelong learning.Position Overview: As a Data Analyst for the Gersh Organization you will play a crucial role by providing data-driven insights, analytics, and recommendations to drive effective decision-making within each department. You will collaborate closely with key business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to unlock advanced analytics and insights for the business by sourcing data from a multitude of external programs/vendors specific to each department (HR, finance, IT, Student Information Systems, Behavioral Health Services, etc.).  In addition to the above, you would also be responsible for handling various day-to-day operations tasks which include ensuring compliance with all student IEPs, including behavioral mandates. Managing all SOP archival and suggesting/creating additional SOPs where needed. Act as project manager on any key Business Development projects and act as primary lead to the Director of Data and Compliance. 

Critical Experiences / Skills:    -  Intermediate to Advanced Skills in creating reports within  - Power BI  - Tableau    -  User experience with R, Python, or similar data analysis tool a plus   -  Knowledge of SQL a plus   -  Ability to travel as needed.   -  Ability to handle highly confidential information in a professional manner.   -  Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.   -  Strong business acumen and ability to translate data into actionable insights.   -  Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.   -  High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Simplify data access and promote self-service analytics platforms that empower users to explore data and generate insights independently.   - Actively educates and promotes data literacy throughout the organization. Provides training sessions or workshops to enhance employees' understanding of data analytics concepts, tools, and techniques.   - Is able to successfully time-manage and produce a clean end user product in a fully remote environment with minimal supervision.  - Is driven by curiosity to seek out more efficiencies and/or better platforms as the company grows and be able to present this information upstream to leadership. 

Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. - Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in an educational or healthcare setting. - Proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, R, or Python. - Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. - Excellent communication skills to present complex data findings to non-technical audiences. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. - Understanding of data privacy and confidentiality regulations.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.   -  3+ years of experience leading large projects with multiple stakeholders.   -  Proven experience in data analysis and advanced analytics, preferably with workforce data  -  Proven experience in creating BI dashboards using complex survey questions
