Who We Are

KARE is the first labor marketplace dedicated solely to the Senior Housing and Post-Acute industry. KARE connects qualified caregivers and nurses (we call them Heroes) with Senior Care Communities and Nursing Homes. The KARE app gives caregivers the flexibility to create a schedule that works for them, and it gives communities the ability to quickly fill open shifts, delivering a revolutionary approach to solving staffing challenges.

What You Will Do

We are a fast-growing organization! We have roles available at certain times in the functions of:

  • Market Growth- Working directly with our community customers to ensure successful use of KARE in their communities. Roles include General Manager, Guru/Regional Account Executive
  • Company Growth- Similar to market growth but with a more relationship-based approach to National Account Management. Roles include Implementation, Guru/National Account Executive
  • HERO Development- Passionate about the frontline worker, this team works directly with our Heroes and HERO candidates to ensure that KARE is their #1 choice for flexible work.
  • Marketing- Bringing the voice of KARE to life. This can include social media, digital marketing, tradeshow organization, PR and branding and more.
  • Product- Ensuring the KARE product is best in class for our community partners and Heroes.
  • Operations/People Operations – This is for the highly organized that like to focus internally to make sure our people and process are working smoothly.

What You Need

  • Experience in senior living industry is not a must have, but it helps for certain roles
  • Able to work in an ambiguous environment where things continuously change
  • Must have an affinity for the color orange!! We love to wear the KARE brand loud and proud.
  • Some roles have very little travel and some roles travel a lot! In general, an ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including potential international travel.
  • Willing to dig in and do the work! If you want to just advise or delegate, this is not the place for you.
