Role Summary - QA Engineer

Sets superior quality standards and is responsible for overall functional validity and performance of ShopYourWay platforms and apps. This position provides outstanding expertise in the area of Quality Assurance (QA) through the design, creation and execution of complex test cases in collaboration with other members of the Engineering team.
Responsibilities:
    • Design and develop test plans, test cases based upon functional , non-functional, and design specifications, execute test cases, analyze and report test results with the team.
    • Work with projects from a QA perspective to ensure smooth delivery of projects in an Agile/Scrum framework. Actively participate in team meetings to support adequate project scoping, design reviews, test planning, and technical documentation review for assigned projects.
    • Actively participate as a member of the team performing S/W engineering and Quality Assurance activities including new feature design & development, maintenance and support
    • Demonstrate your passion and skill in the testing and validation of robust, scalable services and secure applications.
    • Adopt the DevOps processes and CI/CD environments to facilitate TDD.
    • Create, trigger, monitor, and control the execution of automated test suites, identifying issues and potential gaps in reliable and efficient test suites to enable continuous improvements.
    • Conduct integration testing, regression testing, root cause analysis, segmentation of errors, trend and other data analysis and conceptualize and develop tools and frameworks needed for the smooth and scalable execution of the programs.
Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
    • 4+ years proven success designing and implementing test specifications for agile software projects of significant size and complexity.
    • Good exp on web, iOS and Android user experience patterns on real devices.
    • Well-versed in testing a customer facing applications
Experience & Knowledge:
    • Understanding of web services. mobile apps and website functions..
    • Develop and execute test plans, test scripts
    • Experience in Unit Testing and Test Driven Development
    • Experience in using QA software tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Jmeter etc
    • Experience in using QA automation & testing tools such as BrowserStack, Appium, Selenium Webdriver, Blazemeter etc
    • Good knowledge in report tracking tools (JIRA) and design tools like Figma.
    • Sound understanding of cloud computing and automation-AWS
    • Experience with API tools like Postman, and debugging tools such as Fiddler.
    • Experience with using of MongoDB at a beginning to intermediate level
    • Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java etc
    • Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and analytical skills.
