THE COMPANY
Blended Technologies is bringing modern SaaS to the wine industry. Our products will give winemakers the tools to manage all aspects of the winemaking process from grape to bottle, and will allow winery owners to optimize their business with tailored workflows, inventory tracking, tasting room management, direct-to-consumer sales, and CRM. We help owners and winemakers spend less time on tax and compliance paperwork and more time making great wine and keeping customers happy.
We are a fully-funded seed-stage startup rounding out our initial engineering team that is conceiving, designing, building, and bringing our product to market. We are offering competitive salary and benefits as well as single-digit-employee-number equity.
THE ROLE
Being one of the first engineering hires at a startup is a special thing – you’ll never have a greater impact, you’ll never have more opportunity, you’ll never get a bigger piece of the pie, and you’ll never have more fun. This position reports directly to an experienced CTO with decades of experience at Google, Netflix, Apple, Twilio and other tech-focused companies.
We’re looking for a senior frontend engineer to help design and build our service from the ground up. You should have built big things before, have opinions about what works and what doesn’t, and can work independently on even bigger things. There isn’t always going to be a clear map that explains how to get where we want to go, so you should be comfortable trying to understand our customer needs really well, be given some UI sketches, a data schema, and coworkers to collaborate with, and be excited to figure out the rest from there.
