Job description

Our client is looking for a Verifications Specialist who will serve as an extension of our team verifying the employment, education, professional references, and license status of job applicants for our clients.

Job Responsibilities

Make outbound calls daily in the performance of education, employment, and reference verifications provided by job applicants on behalf of our clients
Review and complete verification requests as ordered by our clients
Determine, through research, the next steps to verify the information
Answer inbound calls on a multi-line phone system for the Verifications Department
Conduct internet research to verify education and employment information provided by job candidates
Email businesses, schools, and professional organizations to verify information given by job applicants on behalf of our clients
Conduct interviews with professional references to assess a job applicant's previous work history
Administrative responsibilities related to the Verifications team

Requirements

At least a year of experience doing verifications
Strong phone presence is required, with a professional demeanor
Working knowledge of G-Suite and Microsoft Office products
Navigate between multiple windows/browsers with ease, perform extensive internet research, and type 45 WPM
MUST be amenable to work in US Timezone

System Requirements

At least 15mbps for the main internet and at least 10mbps for backup
A desktop or laptop that has an i5 processor with at least 4 GB RAM and an i3 processor for backup
- Note: Back-ups should still be able to function when there is a power interruption
