What will I be doing?**

This position will work within Finance Operations and the candidate will be responsible for providing leadership for all financial reporting and consolidations activities. Ensure the company's compliance with all GAAP and SEC rules and regulations. Prepare/Review all lender quarterly and annual reports along with applicable SEC filings including the annual report, 10-Q, 10-K and any registration statements. Prepare/Review reporting/presentations for Senior Management. Oversee all consolidations activities, intercompany accounting, and equity compensation. The candidate will report to the Global Corporate Controller and will work with the team and seek to continually improve processes within Finance Operations.

Job Responsibilities**

  • Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements for the Company and subsidiaries, including preparation of the cash flow statement and EBITDA/EBITDAC statements. This includes preparation of financial statements for managerial use, as well as GAAP financial statements. Make strategic improvements to reports and collaborates with business leaders to ensure reports present relevant information and support key business decisions. Work with FP&A group to address reporting needs supporting annual Plan, ongoing Forecast, and continuing operations.
  • Prepare quarterly 10-Qs, annual 10-Ks and other SEC filings for management review while tracking and maintaining supporting documentation from various reporting groups in compliance with the Company’s internal control over financial reporting. Prepare GAAP financial disclosures and ensures compliance with published guidance. Evaluate new guidance and proposes solutions for compliance. Work with both internal and external parties to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Assist Corporate Controller in coordinating quarterly reviews and annual audit with outside auditors, ensuring that accurate support is provided as requested. Discuss and explain sources of various financial figures and disclosures to auditors. Document Company position through technical memos to support accounting treatment. Coordinate with tax department for quarterly and annual requirements related to the provision and various audits as necessary, ensuring that accurate support is provided as requested.
  • Research and discuss complex accounting and reporting issues related to significant Company transactions and financial reporting process, as well as prepares memoranda related to complex issues as needed.
  • Coordinate goodwill and asset impairment testing required under authoritative guidance with external valuation specialists. Appropriately document the Company’s conclusions in technical memos, considering all relevant guidance. Coordinate the audit of impairment testing with external auditors.
  • Prepare periodic covenant calculations and pro-forma financial statements to comply with the Company’s Credit Agreement.
  • Propose amendments and facilitate change to the Company’s internal control over financial reporting and any related business processes in conjunction with Section 404 of the Sarbanes Oxley Act.
  • Responsible for ad hoc reporting and leading project initiatives as required at the request of Management.
  • Continuous transformation through identification of processes that can be optimized or automated for improved efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide training, mentoring, and development to team to ensure the function performs at maximum performance levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
  • CPA required, master’s degree in accounting preferred.
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years related experience within public accounting and training with public company experience. Additional three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a global financial reporting role.
  • Deep and broad knowledge of accounting and SEC rules.
  • Proactive engagement of business issues combined with thoughtful solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and use sound judgment in decision making.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and deliver results.
  • Experience with Workiva, Adaptive and NetSuite is a plus.
  • Strong Microsoft Office (especially Excel) skills a must.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and leadership skills.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $150,000 to $180,000.
