Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business, Department of Supply Chain Management, has an opening for a tenure system assistant/associate professor with expertise in operations and sourcing management (OSM) to start in the 2024-2025 academic year. Duties include research, teaching, and service, and the teaching responsibility would involve OSM courses. Salary and terms are negotiable depending on experience.
There is a preference for candidates who conduct theoretically driven empirical research on managerially relevant, contemporary OSM topics. Specific interest in purchasing/sourcing is desirable. Candidates must have the ability to teach at the undergraduate and MBA levels.

Doctorate -Supply Chain Management or related field
The position requires a Ph.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited university. Candidates must have a conferred Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management or related field as of June 1st, 2024, and have a demonstrated record of research excellence in OSM, commensurate with their rank.
