Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Agent - Executive Protection is to serve as part of a team that provides physical protection to ensure the safety and security of designated corporate executives, or others as assigned, who are associated with our hospitality oriented Las Vegas based company. The Executive Protection Team operates in high profile domestic and overseas environments.

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sands Corp.’s policies, practices, and procedures. All Las Vegas Sands Corp. Team Members are expected to conduct and carry themselves in a professional manner at all times. This is a safety-related position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Execute security and physical protection measures for high profile individuals in various environments to include corporate, residential and academic locations.

  • Conduct security advances and logistical support for events, venues and travel activities.

  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality with regards to any sensitive information pertaining to Principals, physical protection means and methods, or company information.

  • Interact in a professional manner with company team members, external security personnel or other external individuals and law enforcement officials.

  • Foster an environment of trust and confidence through exemplary integrity, dedication and professionalism.

  • Provide security / physical protection for corporate executives and others as assigned.

  • Able to multi-task, think quickly and respond effectively in a dynamic and ever changing environment.

  • Able to work comfortably in a team setting as well as independently.

  • Be prepared for domestic and overseas travel on short notice to provide protection and conduct advances.

  • Maintain excellent physical condition and firearms / martial arts / first aid skills.

  • Perform job duties in a safe manner.

  • Attend work as scheduled on a consistent and regular basis.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 21 years of age.

  • Proof of authorization to work in the United States.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Control Board Registration, valid Nevada Driver's License and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.

  • Military experience OR law enforcement experience OR have extensive private sector experience in executive protection along with certified executive protection courses and training.

  • Basic technical and tactical shooting skills as well as fundamental martial arts abilities.

  • Required to pass a physical fitness test and maintain excellent physical conditioning.

  • Ability to obtain a concealed weapon permit.

  • Have and retain a valid driver's license.

  • Must possess a U.S. passport and be able to travel at least 35% of the time, both domestically and overseas. 

  • Candidate must be able to meet operational requirements in a highly-dynamic environment while facing aggressive time constraints in domestic and international settings.

  • Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making and communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to prioritize and manage tasks while working independently.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any certification or license, as required by law or policy.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in spoken and written form.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to:

  • Lift or carry 200 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned.

  • Physically access assigned workspace areas with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Work remotely as necessary.

  • Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, and dust.
