Volunteer - Senior Learning and Development Officer (SLO)

Role Nature: Voluntary (unpaid)

Minimum Time Requirements: 4-5 days per month on average

Location: Home-based

The Blockchain & Climate Institute (BCI) is an international think-tank supporting and advocating the application of blockchain technology in the global fight against climate change.

We are looking for a passionate VOLUNTEER who takes a strategic approach to their work, builds professional relationships with stakeholders, and generates opportunities for the organisation development.

Your responsibilities will include:

● To assist with the curating and/or creating of Capacity Building material for the Institute

● To create Learning and Training opportunities for the volunteers

● To deliver training initiatives to fulfil the training needs identified within the Institute

● To provide regular administrative support for the learning and development functions

● To assist in the coordination of BCI learning and training sessions

• Strong interest in topics central to BCI, such as climate change, climate finance and blockchain technology
• Proven experience as an L&D Manager, Training Manager or similar
• Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
• Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
• Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Excellent communication skills

These are two hot topic groups that have been headlining media outlets, dominating conferences & events, and gaining increasing traction in research and pilot projects.
