Press Reader - Report Production

The human verification of system-generated data is a key point of differentiation between Isentia and our competitors. The Press Reader is required to quickly and accurately determine the relevance of each news article.

Job Decription/Key Responsibilities:

• Produces consistent productivity and quality outputs. Ensures being capable of doing press reader tasks 1-2 months from hiring to be confirmed/renewed, where applicable
• Knowledgeable about the client and includes all required data.
• Produces accurate/correct press reader entries free of errors and adheres to required style and formatting.
• Complies on time and consistently with all changes in the account and press reader entries. Bonus points for positive feedback from the client
• Ascertains timely submission of all client deliverables with no late reports except those due to legitimate factors beyond control, i.e. technical issues, emergencies.
• Contributes to innovation and process improvements by giving suggestions to reduce man-hours used in doing press reader tasks and gives feedback on Isentia PDF links (incorrect headline translation; misspelled words; incorrect data entry)

Requirements

Education: Degree in Media/ Communications or a degree with foundations in Media Research/ Market Research is desired

Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of data interpretation, excellent speed reading skills, competent in/ knowledge of research techniques and project management

Industry Experience: At least 2 years in related industry with sound knowledge of the Singapore media landscape. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Personal Qualities: Self-motivated and results driven; excellent organizational and time management skills; attention to details and ability to work under pressure; team player

Technology Skills: Competent in GSuite and other cloud storage platforms, basic troubleshooting

Language Skills: English; proficiency in other local languages (Chinese, Malay) would be a plus

Communication & Language: Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, with cross-cultural teams and with external parties

Other Requirements:

• Candidate must have at least 15 Mbps Internet connection
• Candidates must have at least Windows 10 or 11, Intel Core i5 or i7, AMD Ryzen 5 or 7, Microsoft Applications legally, and 8GB to 24GB RAM
• Willing to adjust with the schedule
• Can start immediately
• Monday to Friday, 3:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
