Position Title: Strategic Account Executive
$82,500 to $137,500 annually DOE, plus target commission of $65,000 annually

Job Summary
The Strategic Account Executive is responsible for selling telecommunications and network connectivity
services while creating and managing the relationships within key vertical segments defined as
Government, Education, Medical and Large Strategic.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain enduring relationships with clients as their trusted adviser at-all levels of the
organization
• Develop a thorough understanding of clients’ business and technical challenges, operating
environment, capabilities, and goals to develop the right solution to meet their needs
• Be adept at selling into new logos as well as existing accounts
• Prospecting, cold calling, and selling our Fiber Optic telecom products
• Responsible for selling advanced Data services such as MPLS, VPN, VOIP, SIP Trunking, Cloud
based PBX, and dedicated internet access
• Build and maintain a consistent sales funnel and pipeline and utilize Salesforce CRM and other
applications
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, MBA preferred
• 7+ years total sales experience
• 3+ years of sales experience in one of the following verticals: Government, Education, Medical
or large strategic enterprises
• Experience selling into a variety of industries and territories as well as experience cultivating
larger, strategic relationships key
• Experience managing a full sales cycle from prospecting through closing
• Experience developing and maintaining business, sales, account plans as well as negotiating
and closing complex deals
• Capacity to work on cross-functional projects in a fast -paced environment
• Proficiency in Salesforce.com
• Must have reliable transportation and willing to travel as needed.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and satisfactory driving record.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Strong prospecting, selling, and closing skills
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to consistently meet sales quotas
• Strong knowledge of the telecommunications business
• Strong verbal and written communication skills – including excellent reporting and forecasting
skills
• Excellent customer relationship skills
• Ability to drive on behalf of the company in a safe and responsible manner
