Position: Direct Sales Representative, Lithium Ion

Territory: Midwest U.S. (Must live within the territory)

Position Overview:
The Direct Sales Representative, Lithium-Ion will play an integral part of the sales team and continued success of the Lithium-Ion line of products. This role will be responsible for developing and growing lithium-ion sales within the territory by identifying new dealers and opportunities to aggressively grow the lithium line.

Responsibilities:
The Direct Sales Representative, Lithium-Ion will be the sole representative for the identified region and focused on the growth and development of the customer base in the region. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets and strategic KPIs, along with the following:
  • Lead all sales efforts in assigned territory
  • Respond to customer requests in a timely and professional manner, ensuring critical customer deadlines are met
  • Maintain consistent communication with broader sales team and report sales results to leadership
  • Work with leadership to establish market level pricing based on customer feedback and competitive intelligence
  • Facilitate rebate and incentive programs for dealers
  • Achieve sales and profitability targets
  • Develop strong understanding of applicable markets, customer segments and applications
  • Manage and maintain customer relationships, accounts, and pipeline of new opportunities
  • Follow quality system procedures

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field preferred
  • 2-3 years of outside sales experience in a related field
  • Experience with batteries is a plus
  • Understanding of DC power and voltage
  • Must have mechanical or electrical knowledge relating to different applications
  • Enthusiastic team player with a desire to succeed and produce meaningful results
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills with analytical ability and a high degree of professionalism
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Work from home with a 75% customer face-time expectation; local and overnight travel required
  • Experience with Salesforce and CRM tools is a plus
  • Experience working in the local region is a plus
