Position Title:

Rescue Training Coordinator

The Rescue Training Coordinator (RTC) will oversee the scheduling, planning, and execution of Industrial and Fire/Rescue training classes within Tribalco Rescue. The individual in this position is expected to help grow our business by leveraging relationships with Tribalco’s customers and partners to identify new business opportunities, provide capabilities briefings, participate in capture efforts, and support proposal development. The RTC will be responsible for managing a cadre of instructors, including Chiefs and Assistants.

 

Tribalco Rescue provides technical rescue training for customers across the United States, including confined space, rope rescue, structural collapse, extrication, trenching, and other disciplines. Although based remotely, cross-country and international opportunities do arise! Company-paid travel to these locations expected and may be required up to 50%. Although primarily focused on building commercial business, the RTC will also assist Tribalco Rescue’s Tactical Training Coordinator (TTC) in teaching and logistical support of tactical opportunities. 

Responsibilities

  • Training
    • Teach tactical and commercial classes
    • Schedule Instructors
    • Develop Instructors, when necessary
    • Maintain and develop course lesson plans
    • Maintain class schedule and calendar
    • Manage and determine impact of all project risks
    • Proactively and consistently communicate internally and externally
    • Develop and perform presentations to customer base
  • Equipment
    • Research and develop new rescue equipment ideas for both commercial and tactical customers
  • Follow all customer site rules and regulations, as well as the applicable standards from The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)             
    • Such as confined space, fall protection, trenching and excavation, and/or emergency response
  • Increase Rescue and Safety Sales
    • Identify new requirements for Tribalco Rescue sales pursuits
    • Build trusted relationships with Tribalco Rescue customers and partners in the region
    • Supply weekly sales reports to Tribalco Rescue Group Executive
  • Meet with clients and assist in creating proposals
  • Regularly meet with leadership to report on quality and risk measures
  • Working with corporate assets to manage operational issues
  • Provide feedback and participate in the OC and QCB as necessary
  • Meet with top customers to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Assist in maintaining ISO and CMMI certifications
  • Attend any site-specific training as required by the host employer, and
  • Adhere to Tribalco’s Safety and Health Policies (copy will be provided)
  • Attend Tribalco Rescue Trade Shows

 

 

Desired Skills

          Excellent verbal skills and demonstrated ability to quickly develop good relationships with both management and staff as well as customers

         Strong experience managing multi-tiered customer and partner relationships

Qualifications:

  • Education varies with experience
  • Employee must be trained or be able to be trained in Rope and Confined Space Rescue as defined in applicable national consensus standards. Must have advanced knowledge and broad experience in technical rescue, team leadership, scheduling, proposal writing, and reporting. Thorough knowledge of the following applicable OSHA standards that pertain to the services that Tribalco Rescue will provide:
    • Confined Space (General Industry and Construction)
    • Fall Protection (General Industry and Construction)
    • Trench/Excavation (Construction)

 

Preferred Certifications:

  •       NFPA 1006 Certified Confined Space Rescue Technician
  •       NFPA 1006 Certified Rope Rescue Technician
  •       NFPA 1006 Certified Trench/Excavation Rescue Technician
  •       NFPA 1006 Certified Structural Collapse Rescue Technician
  •       NFPA 1006 Certified Vehicle/Machinery Extrication Technician
  •       Chief Instructor Confined Space/ High Angle/ Trench/ Structural Collapse Rescue
  •       OSHA Competent Person for Confined Space
  •       OSHA 30 Hour General Industry
  •       OSHA 30 Hour Construction
  •       Certified Paramedic
