As a Web Manager, you will be the driving force behind maintaining and optimizing our corporate and affiliate websites, ensuring they deliver seamless, user-centric experiences.

This role involves managing content updates, collaborating with developers and external partners, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with ADA and privacy standards. Additionally, you will play a key role in enhancing SEO performance, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Update, maintain and proactively strive to optimize user experience on the Unified Women’s Health corporate and state-level Affiliate websites on existing CMS frameworks (e.g., WordPress).
  • Work with outside developers and Agency project managers to ensure seamless CMS creation for new websites, delivering complete solutions and ensure all technical requirements are met across existing and new websites.
  • Monitor and report on multiple website performance metrics and form completions. Troubleshoot data capture issues, as necessary.
  • Field ongoing content edit requests from corporate and Affiliate team members. Manage upward with any concerns about content requests.
  • Implement and maintain website standards for ADA and privacy standards set forth by Unified. Monitor industry news about ADA, cookie consent and analytics tracking and bring forth pertinent information.
  • Implement custom CMS based plug-ins or extend existing CMS functionality depending on the project needs.
  • Proactively monitor SEO integrity and provide recommendations and insights to improve user engagement.
  • Troubleshoot and debug back-end issues, optimize application performance, and manage the edit ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with internal (e.g., Unified IT team) and external parties to configure, maintain, and optimize server environments and assist with domain search/purchase efforts, as needed.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in web development or editing
  • Bachelor's degree preferred - Computer Science, Web Development, or related field.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development frameworks.
  • Experience with server-side programming languages (e.g., PHP, Python, Java, Node.js).
  • Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and block-based editors (e.g. Gutenberg) and other WordPress plug-ins (e.g. Avada, Gravity Forms), and a solid understanding of on-page SEO best practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud services and hosting solutions (e.g., HIPAA Vault, Azure), as well as Apache.
  • Knowledge of corporate HIPAA compliance analytic tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Freshpaint, OneTrust) is a bonus.
  • General understanding of web security best practices (SSL, encryption, authentication methods).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying solutions and implementing them independently.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and efficently, explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and efficiently complete work toward set deadlines.
