Position Overview
The Content Specialist will drive company success by crafting, editing, and publishing stellar, engaging content. This leader will improve results in three key areas: drafting unique, compelling social media copy; exercising ownership over one branch of a cutting-edge, national content strategy; and, ultimately, driving organic lead generation.
Responsibilities
- Crafting Short-Form Social Media Content
- Breathe life into and continuously improve on a national, corporate social media strategy.
- Explore new and unique approaches to writing for social media, including ghostwriting on behalf of subject matter experts, synthesizing complex real estate news and trends, and providing immediate value within posts themselves.
- Perfecting Other Writers’ Long-Form Blog Content
- Create data-informed briefs to guide SEO efforts.
- Utilize AI tools to generate first drafts at scale.
- Oversee 3+ remote, freelance editors. Provide guidance on iterating and improving drafts.
- Complete final edit of all drafts, infusing the Evernest voice and tone.
- Work closely and collaboratively with a team of web developers for blog publishing.
- Generating New Leads
- Monitor social media data and analytics, adapting approach as needed.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Required).
- 2-5 years of progressive experience in marketing or communications (Required), with at least 1 year in an editor role (Preferred).
- A thorough understanding of AP style (Required).
