The Field Services Engineer will provide highly visible customer care support through the performance of the on-site installation, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems. Checks out and approves operational quality of system equipment. Instructs customers in operation and maintenance as well application of the system. Serves as company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. Interprets customers’ needs and clarifies if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, customer support reps, or engineers. This job may include any aspect of field support and is not limited to the system hardware and software, PCs, and networking/wireless networking. The role includes:

  • Troubleshooting on electro-mechanical, inkjet-based systems
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance as assigned
  • Reporting activities in a timely manner via the CRM software (Salesforce)
  • Perform software and hardware upgrades
  • Perform 3D printing of Electronics devices
  • Installation of Nano Dimension’s 3D printer
  • Provide high level training for customers
  •  Provide remote and on-site support at short notice
  • Provide application support and training.
  • Feedback to R&D and other stakeholders to improve the customer experience
  • Travel throughout USA and worldwide to service and train the install base

Requirements

  • Field Service Engineer with proven experience working with electro-mechanical equipment / multidisciplinary systems. Experience in inkjet – advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Field Service Engineer
  • Electrical background
  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills in English 
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Electrical background & Design using e-CAD or m-CAD tools- an advantages
  • Team player with excellent people skills
  • Calibration experience
  • Salesforce knowledge- an advantage
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including customer training
  • Strong hands-on approach
  • MUST have US Citizen
  • Ability to travel up to 80%
  • Remote
