Job description

Genesis10 is seeking a skilled Reporting Analyst with expertise in data analysis, SQL, and Alteryx for a 12-month remote contract with our client.

Summary:
We are seeking a Reporting Analyst with a strong focus on Data Analysis and Reporting to support operational excellence. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical expertise to collect, analyze, and present actionable data insights, assisting management in decision-making and policy formation. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, business acumen, and collaborative teamwork in a fast-paced Agile environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate mathematical or simulation models to analyze complex operational problems.
  • Collect and validate data, define requirements, and apply statistical testing and judgment.
  • Develop and troubleshoot Alteryx workflows to support ongoing and new reporting needs.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for advanced data analysis and reporting.
  • Deliver ad hoc data analysis requests (e.g., data dumps) and develop new regular reports (KTLO).
  • Collaborate on reporting related to workforce management, case/contact center metrics, and prior authorizations.
  • Validate and test models to ensure accuracy and reformulate as necessary.
  • Provide clear and actionable insights to managers and supervisors to optimize staffing and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in Scrum meetings, Agile standups, and cross-functional collaboration with other data analysts.

Qualifications:

  • Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
    • 8-10 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or operations research.
    • Expertise in Alteryx and SQL for data processing and workflow automation.
  • Preferred:

    • MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
    • Experience with Python, Tableau, and Power BI.
    • Familiarity with healthcare data reporting and workforce management.

Technologies You’ll Use:

  • Must-Haves: Alteryx, SQL
  • Nice-to-Haves: Python, Tableau (preferred over Power BI), Power BI

Additional Information:

  • Manage over 400 ongoing deliverables (KTLO) and 100-150 ad hoc requests.
  • Reports focus on workforce management, prior authorizations, and operational metrics.
  • Healthcare experience is a plus but not required; technical expertise is prioritized.
Compensation: Hourly W2 pay rate $45-$50
