Position Overview

Join our team as a Resident Services Specialist! We're seeking a skilled communicator passionate about customer service to build and maintain great relationships with our residents.

You'll be the go-to between residents, homeowners, and property managers. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, as well as dedication to providing top-notch customer service and getting great results.

Responsibilities

  • As the main point of contact for residents, your role is to respond promptly to their inquiries, complaints, and maintenance requests via telephone, email, and text.
  • One of the best parts of your job is developing and maintaining positive relationships with residents to foster a sense of community and promote resident retention.
  • You'll be working closely with the management team to ensure that all policies and procedures are being followed and that resident issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
  • You're also responsible for assisting resident delinquency, which means making sure that residents pay their rent on time.
  • You'll have the important task of renewing 75% or more of the resident leases leases in your portfolio.

Core Competencies

  • Great communication skills and friendly interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience in customer service, real estate, financial services or a related field.
  • Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience.
  • Capable of working autonomously and taking ownership of tasks until they are successfully resolved. Passionate about working with others as a team.

Desired Competencies

  • Proficiency with property management, leasing, and mobile payment solution software: Appfolio.
  • Knowledge of residential real estate laws, regulations, and/or housing voucher assistance programs.

Requirements

  • Fast Internet: we require a minimum download speed of 40 Mbps.
  • Working Computer: make sure your computer is up-to-date and running smoothly.
  • 2 Monitor Screens: having two screens will help you multi-task and be more productive.
  • Webcam: so we can have face-to-face conversations.
  • Headset: for clear and easy communication during meetings.
  • Quiet workspace: to help you focus and be productive.

Compensation Details

Exciting starting salary range of 6 USD per hour with ample opportunities for growth within the company. This is a remote position requiring full-time availability, with work hours of Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm US CST. While we do not offer part-time positions, the benefits of being a full-time team member are significant.
