Position Overview

The Enterprise Cyber Security Engineer will be involved in multiple aspects of supporting and the enhancement of the cybersecurity program with the goals of reducing risk and driving continuous maturity. The focus of the position will be to deploy, automate integrate and enhance Insulet security capabilities. Support the cyber security organization on the implementation and integration of security solutions. Increase the visibility on the multiple enterprise environments, develop strategies and solutions to improve and adopt new and existing tools and platforms with the final objective of secure the protect the company and customers.

Responsibilities

• Continuously research, design, advocate and recommend new security technologies, architectures, and products that will ensure meeting all the compliance requirements. 
• Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organization's data, systems, and networks

• Design and maintain security controls for applications and infrastructure
• Implement and configure security tools and services to enhance the security posture of the company
• Deploy, enhance and automate security workflows and tasks to improve the detection and response capabilities

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent communication skills to effectively annotate findings in both written and oral form. 
• Ability to communicate clearly and present security with technical staff as well as non-technical colleagues. 
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and develop innovative solutions to meet project expectations without compromising good design. 

Education and Experience

• BS degree or higher in Computer Engineering, STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or equivalent) 
• 5+ years of Information Security or relevant IT experience required
• Knowledge of web and mobile application architecture patterns, concepts, distributed environments, and database technologies.
• 2+ years of cloud security experience (AWS, Azure)
• 3+ years of scripting and linux administration experience

Additional Information

• The position can be remote. The preferred location is Mexico.
• Travel is estimated at 10% but will flex depending on business need.
