Currently, we are seeking a UX Designer with an intermediate English level to join our team. Here are the challenges that our next warrior will face and the requirements we look for:
Position Title: Mid UX Designer
Location: Colombia

What you will be doing:
  • Conducting and managing user research to uncover user behaviors, pain points, and opportunities for design improvements.
  • Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups that focus on user experience.
  • Applying UX laws, heuristics, and user-centered design principles to enhance usability and functionality.
  • Incorporating feedback from usability tests, stakeholder interviews, and analytics into iterative design improvements.
  • Designing navigation components and logical workflows that optimize user journeys.
  • Performing user testing, analyzing data, and creating actionable recommendations to improve user experience.
  • Maintaining design systems and ensuring consistency in UX across all platforms.
  • Collaborating with product and engineering teams to align designs with technical feasibility and business goals.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Main skills:

    • 3 years of experience as a UX/UI Designer with a focus on UX principles and research.
    • Proficiency in user research methodologies and usability testing.
    • Expertise in creating user flows and wireframes with tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
    • Strong understanding of UX laws (e.g., Hick’s Law, Fitts’s Law) and Nielsen’s heuristics.
    • Experience with iterative processes, including prototyping and user testing.
    • Familiarity with accessibility standards, including WCAG compliance.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams.

  • Additional skills:

    • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for effective collaboration with developers is a plus.
    • Familiarity with analytics tools like Hotjar or Mixpanel is advantageous.
    • Experience facilitating design workshops or sprints.

  • Soft skills:

    • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
    • Effective verbal and written communication.
    • Teamwork and adaptability in collaborative environments.
