Job Summary:

Volaris Group is looking for an M&A Manager to join the M&A team of one of its rapidly growing portfolios. The candidate will have a mandate to lead M&A transactions in the vertical market software space, with focus on Spanish speaking Latin America countries.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter who can thrive with minimal oversight. The role will entail leading M&A transactions during their entire cycle: from sourcing potential targets to signing NDAs, requesting information, performing valuations, issuing indicative offers, signing letters of intent, performing due diligence, and negotiating contracts to sign and close deals.

Responsibilities

Lead M&A transactions by

  • Identifying, contacting, and nurturing potential targets meeting our strategic criteria and specific metrics
  • Developing relationships with owners, advisors and investors that can lead to a transaction
  • Understanding the target’s business and value drivers, and preparing a valuation model
  • Issuing indicative offers and signing letters of intent
  • Leading multi-functional teams (internal and external) to drive the transaction to signing and closing

Qualifications

  • Excellent academic performance
  • Strong communication skills
  • +7 years of experience in M&A
  • Experience working with software or technology is considered an asset
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint: ability to build complex financial models, to perform complex analyzes, and to structure and deliver presentations to senior management
  • Ability to work independently. High level of ownership and natural drive to take initiatives and get things done
  • Excellent teamwork spirit and ability to lead multi-functional teams (internal and external) with people from different cultural backgrounds
  • Only applications of native Spanish speakers will be considered
