General information:

Manage and administer Subcontracts in all aspects of the respective Contractual Obligations within HVDC Sites.

Responsibilities:

  • In cooperation with the Contract Manager Function, proactive commercial execution, management and administration of all

  • Contracts Subcontracts for Civil & Installation (and smaller subcontracts / supply contracts to the extent needed).

  • Manage & report contract specific payments defined in Subcontracts.

  • Manage & report Costs related to Claims, Non-Conformances,

  • Change Orders & any other Non-Budgeted Site Costs.

  • Monitor & report Subcontractor specific Progress, Performance,

  • Risks & Opportunities.

  • Assure that site portions of all contracts are followed & fulfilled in

  • ALL aspects of contractual obligations, likewise - Subcontractor’sas well as Hitachi

  • Perform regular Self-Assessments and cooperate with any relevant

  • auditing activities performed on Site.

  • 4. Cost recovery Identify the recoverable Non-Budgeted Costs, initiate and support

  • the Cost Recovery from other parties.

  • 5. Controlling Verify that all contractual Payments (progress- and/or milestones-)

  • are properly certified, documented and reported.

  • 6. Communication Ensure adequate & timely communication within Site, Project as

  • well as to the delegating line organization.

  • In concert with (Site) Contract Manager, ensure all Subcontractors

  • correspondence is timely and duly replied.

  • Organize & conduct regular Subcontractor specific Meetings with

  • the attendance of Contract Management.

  • Attend regular Site Management Meetings; inform and support

  • the Site Teams on all Subcontracts relevant issues.

  • 7. Administration Ensure that Subcontractor specific communication, including

  • minutes of weekly meetings, are taken & maintained.

  • Reviewing and signing-off of daily and monthly reports from Subcontractors

  • Keeping track & following on critical Subcontract Issues.

  • 8. Closeout In concert with Contract manager, execute and formalize the

  • Closeout of Site-Contracts in line with the respective Contract

  • Clauses.

  • 9. HSE Follows company Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies.

  • Promotes HSE considerations to all partners throughout the project

  • 10. Quality Complies with company, country, and project Quality standards

  • Promotes QA/QC considerations to all partners throughout the

  • project
