Job Description:
We are excited to be on the hunt for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Crypt News Editor to lead our editorial efforts and deliver high-impact content for the German crypto market.
In this role, you will be crafting and managing top-tier news stories, analyzing industry trends, and being responsible for producing engaging, and timely content that informs our target audience. You will be responsible for managing our editorial staff, driving audience growth in the crypto industry.
Responsibilities:

Ensure all content adheres to journalistic standards and aligns with the brand's voice and goals.

Oversee the creation, editing, and localization of news articles, blog posts, and thought leadership pieces for the German market.

Collaborate with internal teams to integrate content with broader marketing and product strategies.

Optimize content for readability, engagement, and SEO to maximize reach and impact.

Qualifications:
- 3+ years in journalism, content creation, or editorial roles, preferably within the crypto, finance, or tech industry.
- Native German speaker with excellent written and spoken English proficiency.
- Proven experience in crafting compelling news articles and in-depth analyses tailored to a specialized audience.
- Familiarity with editorial workflows, including fact-checking, sourcing, and maintaining journalistic integrity.
- Ability to use data and audience insights to inform editorial decisions and optimize content performance.
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, DeFi, and related topics.
- Ability to translate complex concepts into engaging and accessible content.
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Basic knowledge of SEO principles and their application to news content.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience with technical SEO, including site architecture, crawl optimization, and managing large-scale content platforms.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to troubleshoot and enhance website functionality.
- In-depth understanding of Web3 technologies, DeFi ecosystems, and blockchain innovations.
- Ability to stay ahead of emerging trends and developments within the crypto space.
- Established relationships within the German crypto community, including forums, influencers, and industry leaders.
- Strong ability to leverage these connections for content sourcing, collaborations, and audience growth.
