Job description

Join us as a Senior Project Management Officer (m/f/d) in our Project & Portfolio Management Team on a shared journey that matters!

The Project & Portfolio Management team is one centrepiece of our organization. We bring strategy and business development onto the streets in our ambitious commercialization projects taking on key roles. We connect the dots across our organization and affiliates and reach out to partners, customers and cities creating transparency, alignment and supporting our delivery. 

Currently, the Project & Portfolio Management Team manages a portfolio of selected strategic, commercialization, and companywide internal projects having established a lean governance and stable baseline of collaboration and communication with the organization. 

What you will do
  • Define, establish, negotiate, develop and integrate the project management framework in an agile product environment
  • Manage the project portfolio governance and transparency as well as guide and support prioritization along strategic objectives
  • Oversee the portfolio of projects creating transparency and relating it to our strategic objectives
  • Ensure portfolio communication to the company and stakeholders
  • Ensures consistency in execution, providing concise views on status, risks and issues across the portfolio
  • Provide tooling, templates (Jira, Confluence, MS are set) and processes supporting both project managers and the organization to collaborate well in the delivery of projects  
  • Integrate and manage administrative processes (legal, financial. etc.) ensuring policy compliance 
What will help you to fulfill your role 

The right person will understand that PMO is at the heart of making things happen. They use their strategic thinking, collaborative skills, adaptability, structural mindset and a focus on continuous improvement to make the work of projects efficient, enabling the teams and contributing to a positive organizational culture.  

  • Proven experience in project management roles in different settings managing systems across a program or portfolio of projects with a focus on building project management frameworks
  • Hybrid methodological experience: Strong understanding both in agile methodologies and values as well as classical project management practices
  • Proven experience in the implementation of Jira and Confluence as Project Management tooling
  • Experience in ensuring administrative process compliance of project management processes in a B2B/ B2G project environment
  • Analytical and conceptual experience to measure project and project management success
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align projects with business goals and support overall strategic objectives
  • Ability to negotiate solutions within the organization and communicate effectively to simplify complex structures
  • Fluent in English, German is nice to have
