Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Category Manager to join our Supply Chain Management team. This key position will be responsible for overseeing the procurement at Limehome, specially for furniture of our serviced apartments as well as potential opening up/managing further categories. The ideal candidate will have established contacts within the furniture industry and a proven track record of successfully managing sustainable supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective and timely procurement.

How you'll be hosting with heart:

  • Support developing and implementing procurement strategies across all categories in alignment with the company's objectives.

  • Develop solutions tailored for international markets, achieving an optimal balance between local adaptations and supplier selection while maintaining a unified, company-wide procurement strategy.

  • Manage a Procurement Manager and support the team member in supplier development and category management.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, leveraging industry contacts to secure quality products and favorable terms.

  • Lead yearly negotiations, ensuring optimal pricing, quality standards, and delivery reliability.

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including design and operations teams, to understand project requirements and timelines.

  • Identify and evaluate new suppliers, conducting regular market analyses to stay ahead of industry trends and opportunities.

  • Oversee supplier performance, managing issues, and mitigating risks to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality products and good supplier relationships.

  • Support order management and forecasting processes to meet operational requirements

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual terms, and regulatory standards throughout the procurement process.

What you'll need to shoot for the stars with us:

  • Proven experience in a senior procurement role, ideally within the furniture or hospitality sectors.

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a managerial position.

  • Strong network and established relationships within the furniture industry.

  • Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills, with a focus on achieving both cost efficiency and quality standards.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and effectively communicate with internal stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an eye for detail.

  • Experience in managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
