Sounds great – what’s the role in a nutshell?

  • This role requires a significantly enhance to our sales team's efficiency and overall performance, covering administrative tasks and managing unforeseen absences. The role would primarily support GDOS and Sales Managers by handling day-to-day administrative duties, assisting with coordination during team absences, and ensuring that we maintain momentum on key sales initiatives.


Social Initiative 

  • Promote environmental initiatives and contribute to maintaining focus and direction in line with the efforts of the Aqua Expeditions team towards environmental conservation and social responsibility. 


Key Responsibilities:

      • Providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Global Sales Director and the Sales Team.
      • Handle correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and other forms of communication on behalf of the Sales Directors and Managers during their absence.
      • Prepare and organize documents, reports, presentations, and proposals as needed.
      • Maintain and update sales databases, CRM systems, and other records.
      • Assist in the preparation of sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics.
      • Coordinate the creation and distribution of sales materials, including brochures, presentations, and product information.
      • Facilitate communication and coordination within the sales team and between different departments.
      • Assist in managing client relationships, including scheduling meetings, preparing for client visits, and following up on client inquiries.
      • Organize and coordinate sales events, conferences, and trade shows.
      • Conduct research on market trends, competitors, and potential clients to support sales strategies.
      • Provide input and support in the development and execution of sales strategies and plans.
      • Assist in the onboarding process for new sales team members, including training coordination and orientation.
      • Organize ongoing training sessions and professional development opportunities for the sales team
      • Support the Sales Director in managing various projects, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
      • Assist in identifying and implementing improvements to sales processes and workflows.
      • Help in tracking and managing the sales budget, including processing expenses and invoices.


        What are we looking for?

        • Tourism, Business Administration, Sales career or similar.
        • + 5 years  luxury sales experience and extensive international travel.
        • High level of English and Spanish, a third language preferable.
        • Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
        • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external clients.
        • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using CRM systems, sales software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
        • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing data and documents.
        • Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate needs, identify problems, and develop effective solutions.
        • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
        • Discretion and Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
