Sales Specialist, Commercial Segment Lead - Single Cell Sequencing
This role can be located at an existing Illumina hub including the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Germany the Netherlands & Nordics

This Commercial Segment Lead role will be responsible for leading the commercial efforts for Illumina’s single cell sequencing product portfolio in Europe. The role will drive geographical, market and application expansion to meet financial targets and growth needs of the European region in this segment.
Reporting to the Head of Strategic Growth team in Europe, the key focus of this role is to identify, facilitate and execute on growth opportunities in new geographies and in existing countries for Illumina’s single cell product portfolio within Europe, helping Illumina to achieve key corporate goals. This Commercial Leader will lead sales execution for single cell sequencing and thereby work with other members of the Strategic Growth team as well as global and sub-regional teams and general managers in Europe to enable sales and define best practices, provide strategic direction and coordinate cross functionally and across multiple geographies.
As Commercial Lead for single cell sequencing, you will be the subject matter expert, with a proven, successful sales background, in the life science industry.
