The Role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will transform clients’ business practices into effective software solutions that meet their needs.

Specifically, you will provide business analysis for complex, multi-disciplinary projects, delivering quality solutions that align with clients’ business strategies. You will work closely with our clients to elicit and document their requirements and support the delivery of solutions that add value to their businesses.

Facilitating agile events, such as story mapping and backlog refinement, you will collaborate with various teams across the division to ensure project success. You will contribute to defining product roadmaps and aligning initiatives with our goals.

Additionally, you will:

- Create user stories and define business-driven conditions of satisfaction

- Facilitate refinement sessions with development teams to clarify functional behaviour

- Apply best practices to develop functional specifications

- Serve as a liaison between agile teams, product management and stakeholders

- Actively participate in sprint reviews, planning sessions and daily stand-ups

About You

To be considered as a Senior Business Analyst, you will need:

- At least four years’ experience as a business analyst for a commercial software products company

- Proven experience using agile requirement techniques such as story mapping, user stories and example mapping

- A solid understanding of software development processes and Agile principles

- The proven ability to learn new business domains and apply knowledge to enterprise software products

- Expertise in conceptual modelling

- The ability to visualise the solution and communicate the solution with stakeholders

- An ownership mentality

- Excellent communication skills

- A highly organised approach with excellent prioritising skills

- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
