As a Business Development Manager, your role is to independently drive the full sales cycle to acquire new clients and grow Billennium’s presence in Malaysia and the APAC region. You will manage all aspects of the sales process, from lead generation to client acquisition and account management, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
Your primary responsibilities shall include:
Lead Generation and Market Research:
- Identify potential clients in collaboration with the Lead Gen and Marketing Team through market research, networking, and leveraging professional platforms such as LinkedIn.
- Focus on industries such as IT, pharma, life sciences, and manufacturing, with a particular emphasis on clients with IT hubs in Malaysia.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and client needs to identify opportunities for Billennium’s services.
Outreach and Initial Engagement:
- Promoting company’s values to strengthen organizational
- Managing all tasks assigned by supervisor or director.
- Proactively reach out to potential clients via email, phone, and social media to introduce Billennium’s services.
- Schedule and conduct meetings or presentations to understand client requirements and position Billennium as the ideal service provider.
Needs Analysis and Solution Development:
- Engage in in-depth discussions with potential clients to identify their challenges and business goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions, aligning Billennium’s offerings with client needs.
Proposal Preparation and Presentation:
- Prepare and present in collaboration with the Business Deliver and Pre-Sales Team tailored proposals, demonstrating a clear understanding of client needs and Billennium’s capabilities.
- Ensure proposals highlight both immediate value (e.g., staff augmentation) and long-term strategic services (e.g., managed services, outcome-based models).
Negotiation and Deal Closure:
- Lead commercial negotiations to secure mutually beneficial agreements while adhering to company policies and pricing strategies.
- Ensure all terms are documented and contracts are executed efficiently.
Onboarding and Handover:
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a seamless transition to Billennium’s delivery teams.
- Maintain active communication during the initial phases of service delivery to ensure client satisfaction.
Account Management and Upselling:
- Maintain ongoing relationships with acquired clients, acting as their primary point of contact for any concerns or opportunities.
- Identify additional needs and upsell Billennium’s advanced services, such as managed services and digital transformation projects.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track all sales activities in the CRM system, ensuring accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline progress, and new opportunities to company leadership.
Continuous Improvement and Feedback:
- Gather client feedback to improve Billennium’s offerings and ensure alignment with market demands.
- Share insights with internal teams to enhance service delivery and client engagement strategies.
- Report to the Global Head of Pharma and work closely with the global pharma team and the regional Head of APAC.
Independent Sales Execution:
- Operate autonomously, managing the entire sales process without requiring constant supervision.
- Take full responsibility for meeting or exceeding sales targets and expanding Billennium’s client portfolio in the region
