Why You’ll Love Working Here:  

As a key member of our Product Management team, you will lead the product strategy, development, and execution for our IoT offerings, delivering innovative solutions that enhance supply chain visibility for the global maritime industry. You will oversee a portfolio of hardware (HW) devices along with the software (SaaS) services, aligning them with the needs of global supply chain customers, including shipping lines, container leasing companies, and logistics operators.

This role will be pivotal in driving product vision, roadmap execution, and revenue growth, working cross-functionally across engineering, marketing, operations, and sales. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in IoT technologies (hardware and software services) and an understanding of supply chain challenges, particularly in shipping logistics.

This role can be held in the following locations:  

Hybrid in Hyderabad, IN 

Remote in EMEA region   

Remote in APAC region

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Product Strategy and Roadmap Development:
    • Define and own the product vision for dry container, strategy, and roadmap for IoT devices and SaaS services, ensuring alignment with market needs and company objectives.
    • Identify new opportunities for supply chain visibility solutions (asset tracking, predictive analytics, connectivity) with a focus on the maritime sector.
    • Maintain a balance between hardware innovation and recurring software services, driving both ARR growth and device sales.
  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
    • Stay ahead of industry trends in IoT, maritime logistics, and supply chain technologies.
    • Perform competitive analysis and identify market gaps to differentiate offerings.
    • Engage with customers to gather VOCs and translate it into actionable product requirements.
  • Product Development & Execution:
    • Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, design, and operations) to deliver products on time and within budget.
    • Collaborate closely with R&D, hardware engineering, and software development teams to manage the full product lifecycle.
    • Ensure smooth integration between hardware and software solutions to create a seamless customer experience.
  • Revenue & Performance Management:
    • Work with the sales and finance teams to develop product pricing models that balance hardware margins and software service subscriptions.
    • Establish KPIs and metrics to track product performance, profitability, and adoption.
    • Monitor and optimize the commercial success of multi-year contracts and product bundles (HW + SW).
  • Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Act as the primary voice of the customer to internal teams, ensuring the product delivers on customer expectations.
    • Partner with sales, marketing, and operations to ensure product launch success, go-to-market strategies, and customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with external partners, suppliers, and vendors as needed for product delivery.
  • Leadership & Team Management:
    • Lead and mentor product owner, fostering an agile, results-driven culture.
    • Work closely with executive leadership to align product plans with business goals.
    • Drive PI planning and ensure alignment across departments for seamless delivery of initiatives.

 

Who You Are:

You’re a strategic thinker with a knack for operational excellence, ready to tackle multiple priorities with agility and grace. If you have: 

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field; MBA preferred.  
  • 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in IoT or supply chain-related industries.  
  • Proven experience managing hardware-software integrated solutions, ideally in a maritime or logistics environment.  
  • Strong understanding of supply chain challenges, especially asset tracking, connectivity, and visibility within maritime operations.  
  • Experience with SaaS business models, pricing strategies, and driving ARR growth.  
  • Expertise in product lifecycle management (PLM) and agile methodologies (including PI planning in a SAFe environment).  
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience managing remote and global teams.  
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in using tools like Jira, Tableau, or similar.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of IoT protocols (e.g., LoRaWAN, NB-IoT), sensor technology, and maritime communications.  
  • Familiarity with container tracking, cold chain monitoring, and other supply chain use cases.  
  • Experience working with private equity-backed companies or fast-growing mid-market businesses.
