DevOps Engineer with AWS Job

Who We Are

You will be a part of the DevOps Engineering Team and work closely to implement a relevant part of the AWS-Landingzone of a big german company with millions of customers.

What You'll Be Doing

• Work together with a high Agile team in Scrum mode
• Extend and improve our CI/CD pipelines (code commit, code build, state machine, lambda, python)
• Extend and improve our security controls and compliance validation (iam, config, event bridge, lambda, python)
• Extend and improve our monitoring systems (cloudwatch, log forwarding, custom metrics, active network tests, lambda, python)
• Extend and improve our network services (route53_resolver, route53, vpc, vpn, tgw, dx, nlb, alb, api gateway, ec2
• Implement and operate systems that are highly available, scalable, and self-healing
  
  
  

What You'll Bring Along

• Bachelor’s degree in Informatics/ or similar field of study/or equivalent working experience is required
• A min 3-5 years demonstrable experience in a similar role is required
• Experience working with AWS cloud provider
• One of Python / Golang / Bash for automation development is nice to have
• Terragrunt is nice to have
• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code frameworks such as Terraform
• Knowledge of networking concepts (e.g. DNS, routing, firewalls).
• Hands-on experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Scrumban, etc.).
• Experience in building and operating highly automated infrastructures
• Proficiency in auditing, monitoring and debugging cloud-based infrastructure.
• Understanding of modern development and operations processes and methodologies.
• Understanding of security concepts with hands-on experience in implementing security controls and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of recommended best practices for building secure and reliable infrastructure in cloud environments.
• Solid experience of running microservices in containers on AWS
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes or EKS or ECS
• Nice to have AWS certification (AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional) or DevOps Engineer Expert
• Hands-on knowledge of source control management systems (GIT) with code branching/merging strategies
• Hands-on experience with Agile, JIRA or various methodologies
