We’re a rapidly growing, US-based IT company and a Microsoft Gold Partner, known for disrupting the SMB industry with tailored business solutions. Our team is expanding globally, and we’re looking for a Senior Finance Manager to lead our accounting function, drive strategic decision-making, and support our continued success across North American markets.

This is an exceptional opportunity to play a pivotal role in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. You’ll manage the full-cycle accounting process, mentor a talented team, and have a direct impact on the company's financial direction. Your expertise will help guide us toward sustainable growth and financial excellence.

Report to: Senior Leader of Finance and Accounting
Location: Remote within Ukraine

Your Impact and Key Responsibilities:

As our Senior Finance Manager, you will be at the heart of our financial operations, helping to drive the company's success while ensuring robust financial governance.

  • Lead the Month-End Close: Oversee the end-to-end process to ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, general ledger reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Financial Reporting: Take charge of maintaining and preparing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, adhering to US GAAP (knowledge of IFRS is a must).
  • Audit Oversight: Lead internal control processes and liaise with external auditors to ensure efficient and effective financial audits.
  • Cash Management: Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure financial stability and support continued growth.
  • Tax Planning: Lead corporate income tax and sales tax compliance, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of tax returns.
  • M&A & Funding: Provide accounting support for due diligence activities in M&A transactions and funding rounds.
  • Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor and guide a high-performing accounting team, ensuring efficient execution of the full-cycle accounting process and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Tech-Driven Processes: Champion technology systems and tools that enhance financial reporting and internal accounting processes, driving automation and efficiency.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine accounting operations to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability across the organization.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Finance Manager to help us scale our financial function. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive change across the organization.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a similar field.
  • A Master’s degree, CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification is preferred.

Professional Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, with US GAAP being a huge bonus.
  • Proven experience in a global accounting environment, managing accounting functions across multiple entities and regions.
  • Solid grasp of revenue recognition principles, particularly in the tech sector.
  • Experience with integrated ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365: Business Central is a plus.

Key Skills & Abilities:

  • A proactive approach, with a demonstrated ability to lead and implement strategic initiatives to enhance financial controls and streamline systems.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English at an upper-intermediate level or above.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including the CFO and senior leadership.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with cash management, tax planning, and overseeing audit processes.
  • Familiarity with international financial regulations, sales tax laws, and compliance practices.

Location flexibility: This is a remote position within Ukraine, though we have a strong preference for candidates who can occasionally work from our Kyiv office.
