Job description

We are looking for a content & social media specialist to join us full-time - double dot is a 100% remote friendly organisation, so the position can be hybrid or fully remote.

The successful candidate must demonstrate a proven track record in forming strategies for social media campaigns, executing them on various social media platforms and monitoring their performance. He/she will support our clients' growing community on social media, help drive audience growth/engagement and handle the community correspondence. Our new team member should be super creative, feel comfortable with content creation and be a team player.

What your typical day will look like
You can rest assured that no two days will look the same :-)
You will work in a very fast paced environment, creating content on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and Pinterest. Some typical day-to-day tasks include:

  • Creating social media strategies 
  • Running workshops to identify content pillars, tone of voice and goals for our clients’ social media profiles
  • Monitoring competition & trends
  • Communicating with clients with regards to content and feedback
  • Creating content calendars and uploading posts
  • Managing communities on social media by replying, interacting & engaging with users
  • Creating response templates
  • Working closely with designers and digital marketing experts
  • Having a physical presence in selected events 
  • Creating predefined or custom reports depending on stakeholder needs
  • Assisting the sales team with new business pitches (high level strategy & projections)
  • Staying up to date on the latest industry developments

Interdepartmental relationships

  • Reports to: Social Media Team Lead
  • Supervises: Social Media Intern

Requirements

Minimum requirements

  • University degree in relevant field (Business, Marketing, Media or similar)
  • Minimum 2 years experience in social media & community management, creating and publishing content across a range of social media platforms
  • Prior experience in using social media scheduling & designing tools  
  • Familiarisation with AI content creation tools
  • Image editing and basic photography skills
  • Video editing skills for short-form video
  • Basic design skills 
  • Be a creative self-starter, ready to research & reveal new opportunities in social media content strategies
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills in both Greek & English; ability to communicate with a wide variety of disciplines and audiences

Will be considered a plus

  • A Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Media or similar
  • Experience in paid campaigns on Meta and LinkedIn Business platforms
  • Writing native articles and other forms of digital content (e.g. website pages, blog posts, newsletters etc.)
  • Agency experience
  • Familiarisation with Google Suite, Slack and ClickUp
