What are we looking for?
We need an experienced Level 3 Infrastructure Engineer to support, secure, and optimise our IT systems and services. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations, delivering robust cloud and security solutions, and driving continuous improvement across infrastructure and applications.

What are you expected to do?

Cloud Infrastructure Support & Security:

  • Provide support for cloud infrastructure environments across AWS and Azure.
  • Manage cloud security via Microsoft Defender for Cloud and AWS Security Hub.
  • Ensure high levels of system and data security, maintaining the integrity of networks and endpoints.
  • Oversee Intune device management, including configuration and compliance profiles, endpoint security baselines, hardening, application deployments, and patching.

Infrastructure Management:

  • Build, maintain, and support client and internal infrastructure to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Perform proactive maintenance, incident, and problem management to minimise downtime.
  • Manage patch and vulnerability processes, ensuring systems remain secure and up-to-date.
  • Support Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.

Helpdesk Support:

  • Act as a first escalation point for Level 1 support tickets.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; escalate complex problems when required.
  • Manage Helpdesk tickets, ensuring timely resolution and operational efficiency.
  • Log incidents and service requests in designated systems, prioritising to minimise backlog.
  • Answer phone, email, or tickets professionally and in a timely manner.

Integration and Automation:

  • Manage and support integrated systems to ensure seamless data availability.
  • Develop and improve automation workflows using Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Contribute to CI/CD processes and optimise system updates and patching.

Transition Management:

  • Manage Managed Service Transitions, collaborating with Professional Services teams to support deployment and integration of new solutions.

Reporting and Change Management:

  • Monitor system performance and prepare accurate reports for client meetings.
  • Support Change and Release Management, including documentation and configuration change management.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive knowledgebases and service documentation.

Security Management:

  • Ensure a secure IT environment, maintaining endpoint security, patching, and adherence to security frameworks.
  • Safeguard internal infrastructure, ensuring alignment with agreed security methodologies.
  • Manage secure dashboards for clients, ensuring appropriate access controls.

Service Excellence:

  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and a culture of service excellence.
  • Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and teams.

You’ll be a great fit if:

  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Cloud Support, or a similar role in Managed Service Team.
  • You bring experience in IT infrastructure, including AWS/Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and cloud security.
  • You have strong knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint, MS Teams, and OneDrive.Experience with CSP & SPLA License Management and Azure subscription management.
  • You have proficiency in AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including management of Defender for Cloud and AWS Security Hub.
  • You have proven experience in monitoring and maintaining system stability and performance.
  • You have hands-on experience in incident and problem management, and change/release management processes.
  • You have a strong understanding of IT security standards to ensure data integrity and system protection.Experience in monitoring endpoint security, managing compliance, and aligning infrastructure with best-practice security methodologies.
  • You are a true team player, who thrives in collaborative environments and adapts to change.
  • You communicate effectively with stakeholders, suppliers, and team members.
  • You have a keen interest in technology and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • You are comfortable working flexible hours when required to support business needs.

We will be absolutely thrilled if you also have the following:

  • You hold relevant certifications or are willing to obtain them within the first 6–12 months: Microsoft Azure Associate, Microsoft Azure Expert and Microsoft 365 Expert.
  • You have experience in process automation using tools like Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • You bring exposure to CI/CD pipelines and AI/ML tools to improve workflows.
  • You have experience with service transitions and integrating new solutions.

What happens after you submit your application?

The whole process takes around 4 weeks:

  • There will be 3-4 interviews and a possible assessment from our client partner. You will undergo an initial interview, a culture interview, and 1-2 interviews with our cool client. This will run for about 1-2 weeks but we will let you know if we need to ramp it up. Be yourself and have fun.
  • We will constantly communicate with you as to the development of your application. You can also directly communicate with us to ask us about the status of your application.
  • If all goes well, we complete the reference check and provide other necessary requirements so we can offer you the job right away.
