Job Description:

Cambria has an exciting opportunity in Philadelphia, PA as a District Sales Manager. The candidate is responsible for developing, cultivating and growing residential and commercial sales of Cambria throughout an assigned territory. They will be responsible for managing Market Representatives and business partners to accomplish these goals. The key to success in this role is the cross collaboration with Operations and winning together as a team. They must have experience managing teams and excel in leading, collaborating, coaching and communicating.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Sell Cambria by coaching, supervising and leading Market Representatives in their local, assigned sales regions

  • Effectively manage 5-10 direct reports, clearly defining priorities and expectations

  • Develop and challenge employees to be high performing

  • Establish a sales-driven culture by setting clear and measurable sales goals

  • Provide daily or weekly feedback (as needed by each employee) to the Market Representatives to optimize their performance. Complete performance reviews and manage any performance issues that arise

  • Use Salesforce as a tool to observe and manage Market Representatives activity

  • Ensure market development to maximize sales within the region. Develop quarterly and annual territory sales plan to direct efforts and calibrate progress. Oversee development of such plans by assigned direct reports for their markets

  • Be available to meet with direct reports and customers over meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) or at events (i.e. Cambria or industry-sponsored or sporting)

  • Provide ongoing training and education to existing Market Representatives to guide their sales approaches

  • Provide initial intensive in-market training and education to new Market Representatives to set them up for success

Sell Cambria by building and cultivating solid relationships

  • Grow business partner relationships throughout the territory for both residential and commercial accounts by cultivating relationships

  • Hold business partners accountable for their Sales and sales-driving activities in the Region. Engage with them regularly to optimize these things

  • Maintain a high level of business, financial and industry expertise so you can advise partners effectively in ways that benefit both their business and Cambria

  • Work closely and collaborate with the leadership team at the Cambria-Owned Distribution Centers and FabShops in the assigned region, if applicable

  • Maintain a professional, high level of contact with key partners, industry associations, retailers, etc. for sales and recruiting purposes

  • Be an expert in industry standards and regulatory codes for both the residential and commercial areas of the business

  • Active use of all social media channels Cambria participates in to promote the brand and product.

Sell Cambria by being a source of information and industry knowledge delivering critical information to and from the field regions

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and establish market intelligence and support materials and tools needed to help grow the territories

  • Calibrate and collaborate with department leadership on initiatives and tools that can help to build and grow business in the territories

  • Communicate relevant information from other areas of the company to Market Reps to assist them in performing their job

Other Duties as Assigned

  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations.

  • Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in the architectural and design industry        

  • Excellent business knowledge and financial acumen

  • Superior track record of being customer-focused with a professional demeanor

  • Proven experience in leading sales teams with disciplined planning, territory management, follow up and have data driven accountability

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Superior organizational and follow-up skills

  • Strong collaboration skills across functions

  • Entrepreneurial mindset

  • Proven effective use of CRM tools such as Salesforce.

  • Must be able to travel and hold a valid Driver’s License

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred

Experience: Minimum 7 Years of Experience Selling Plus Minimum of 3 Years of Employee Management Experience

Systems: Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google (Docs, Sheets, Slides) suites of software, Concur and Salesforce experience preferred.

Additional Requirements:

Travel Requirements: 80% local travel to customers. Remaining 20% is to trade shows, associations and trips to Minnesota for training. Must have the ability to work extended hours, evenings, overnights and weekends. Must hold a valid Driver’s License.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of quartz samples to and from appointments and events. Must be able to drive for a long period of time.

This position will be provided with a company vehicle, based on fleet availability, or mileage reimbursement in lieu.
