Senior Data Architect (SQL & Medical Claims)

Home based / Remote / Work from home.

Summary

The ICON Medical Informatics team is a leading healthcare analytical team, we performs data analytics related to complex methodologies, to provide Real World Evidence solutions that support various critical aspects of clinical research to ICON’s Internal and external stakeholders.

What you do?

  • Develop and maintain SQL stored procedures.

  • Develop and maintain solutions related to the support of clinical research studies in the planning or operational stage.

  • Collaborate with internal staff to help build best practice solutions in a team environment.

  • Document work processes, program libraries and data dictionaries.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing and tracking technical and functional details and meeting the various deadlines and milestones of multiple projects with varying completion dates.

  • As a member of staff, the employee is expected to embrace and contribute to a culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes, adding value to our business and meeting client needs.

What you need?

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related information technology field.

  • 8+ years’ experience working with US patient deidentified transactional health data such as medical and prescription claims is required.

  • 8+ years of experience on SQL or HPL/SQL.

  • Healthcare RWE is required.

  • Ability to work analytically within a problem solving environment.

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as exceptional attention to detail.

  • Willingness to work in UK time zone.
