The incumbent will be responsible for renewals of all GB Small Business Alpha cases and Signature cases up to 50 lives from the first renewal onwards working with Account Executives (AE), Small Business (SB) Director and Renewal Underwriters and other staff in the RGO. Supports the Account Executives in building and maintaining successful advisor relationships.
Position Responsibilities:
Prepares, sends, manages and negotiates the renewals with plan advisors and prioritize and monitor renewal workload by assigned case(s) and by advisor
Access various internal systems for previous renewals, claims history and other reports
Adjust renewal rates upwards or downwards depending on case and advisor, apply Discretionary Spending Account (DSA) and suggest plan design options
Handle renewal appeals and advisor marketing appeals working with renewal Underwriter and assist advisors with selling the renewal
Handle cost negotiations with advisor on renewals and follow up with advisors on renewals
Track terminations and document reasons for not being able to renew
Required Qualifications:
GB technical knowledge
Excellent knowledge of renewal process and underwriting
Good knowledge of GB products and Services
Good knowledge on pricing
Good knowledge on "alternate" plan designs and cost control areas

Excellent organizational and priority setting skills and manage high volumes
Good math skills
Ability to work independently or as a member of a small team
