Job description

Who We Are Looking For

We’re looking for a creative and passionate Learning Experience Designer to join our Member Education team. An ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, authoring, and delivering engaging learning experiences, regardless of modality. The Learning Experience Designer will be responsible for creating a range of instructional materials, from support content to interactive courses for a suite of ever-evolving products. The individual in this role must be willing and able to switch between tasks and juggle projects to accommodate shifting priorities.

What You’ll Be Doing As A Part of Our Team

  • Design and build learning deliverables or assets which address established learning objectives through a Member-centered approach
  • Maintain, evaluate, and iterate on existing learning deliverables with an emphasis on continuous improvement and Member-centered design
  • Identify performance and process gaps, discover new training opportunities, and drive new projects through to completion
  • Coordinate with Product, Operations, and other internal teams to determine ongoing and release-based training needs
  • Partner with internal teams to gather relevant information to support the development of learning deliverables
  • Design and develop curriculum for new and existing educational offerings, including self-paced training, certification programs, and post-training activities.
  • Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role-plays, games, etc.).
  • Work with subject matter experts and identify Member training needs.
  • Contribute to the product knowledge base as well as the customer Learning Management System (LMS)

What You Should Have To Qualify

  • Bachelor’s Degree (English/Literature, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related discipline a plus)
  • 3+ years of experience working in an instructional design/professional training role
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and develop supporting material for software
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proven ability to build, execute, manage, complete, and improve programs and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with eLearning content creation tools such as Articulate 360, Camtasia, Vyond, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, and basic coding for web (HTML / CSS)
  • Experience designing with accessibility best practice and standards
  • Ability to create and edit graphics, audio assets, and video.
  • Demonstrated ownership and consistent delivery on commitments; exceptional organizational skills, follow-through, and attention to detail. Ability to drive program effectiveness and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ideally, You Would Also Have These

  • Experience designing customer-focused training programs
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Previous experience in a SaaS company
  • Working knowledge of Markdown language
  • Working knowledge of SAFe Agile development cycle
  • Working knowledge of SAM or LLAMA methodologies
