Job Summary
Build, scale, and lead the Sales Excellence training team as part of our company’s overall sales enablement strategy. Delivering on the creation and deployment of sales training, content, messaging, processes, practices, tools, and resources to support the companywide sales org. Responsible for maximizing the effectiveness of company’s sales training program while delivering on quality sales training within budget limitations.
Your Role & Responsibilities
- Guides sales teams/leadership on sales strategies for opportunity management as a subject matter expert. Clarifies accountabilities and operationalizes the prioritized sales plays and industry solutions. Guides sales teams/leadership to generate new business and accelerates the closing of existing opportunities.
- Develop and implement competitive selling tools and programs that best position the company against competitors and alternatives in the marketplace.
- Collaborates with leaders to develop strategy for segmentation, territory planning, and quota setting. Shares feedback on proposed changes based on business knowledge.
- Identifies where coaching may be needed based on data-driven insights. Influences sales leader to become more effective coaches to their teams. Guides sales managers to achieve increase individual and team capability, colleague satisfaction, and collaborative selling efforts.
- Build cross-functional team engagement programs that are in sync Revenue Generating initiatives.
- Leverage data to develop strategic insights into new opportunities to optimize and accelerate
- sales activities.
- Drive accountability within the function to identify execution risks and implement controls to detect, mitigate, and/or prevent failure.
- Define and coordinate training programs that enable leaders and team members to achieve their potential and support company growth and revenue objectives
Preferred Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or 5 or more years related experience in a leadership role
Competencies (Skills & Knowledge You’ll Bring)
- Demonstrated leadership experience and skills, able to integrate diverse cross stream and cross functional requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and demonstrated communication skills including writing proficiency and listening.
- Must be detailed-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload, with efficient time management.
- Experience using various technology platforms to drive effective decisions.
Travel Requirements
30-50% travel time expected for the position.

The anticipated annual base salary for this position in the US is $140,000 to $170,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
