Job Summary
The Senior Director of Digital Workplace is responsible for the overall quality and delivery of the enterprise collaborative & end user support services. This role will provide strategic direction, vision and will gain an in-depth understanding of the business to drive process and service improvements. The Sr. Director role will deliver the best digital workplace experience for areas like collaboration, mobility, productivity workplace applications, end user support, and workplace innovations to enable employees to perform in a modern and engaging workplace. This leadership role will be focused on planning, transformation, and continuous improvement, applying a people first mentality to grow and mature both individual contributors as well as a team of people leaders.

- Establish modern workplace technology roadmaps, engineering strategy and operating standards based on industry best practices.
- Develop an IT vision, strategy, and a roadmap, and lead the IT team and its business partners in effective execution.
- Drive service improvement across the Digital Workplace space by making repeatable tasks more efficient through automation, reducing the administrative overhead associated workplace operations, workplace delivery and workplace engineering, including configuration variations, performance issues on endpoint devices and security vulnerabilities.
- Lead the transformation of all elements of the Digital Workplace to unlock the productive of the digital workspace including defining user device standards, device life cycle management, video conferencing solutions, mobility solutions and productivity solutions.
- Lead and oversee the Service Desk and support teams (L1, L2, and Application Support) to deliver exceptional customer service and technical assistance in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and implement customer-centric support strategies that prioritize responsiveness, clarity, and resolution of end-user issues.
- Build and maintain robust knowledge bases and training programs to enable consistent and efficient resolution of recurring issues.
- Set performance metrics and KPIs for support teams to ensure accountability, measure success, and uphold high standards of customer service.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, SLAs, and industry best practices to maintain high levels of trust and reliability.
- Oversee endpoint management & patching to ensure security and availability while minimizing the potential impact on employee experience
- Collaborate with senior technical leadership to continuously evaluate and update processes to improve efficiency, culture and make it easier to get things done.
- Develop & support a culture of innovation to constantly raise the bar.
- Be a key advocate and support change management best practices throughout the organization
- Support team working on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and criteria for obtaining results.
- Coordinates, communicates, and works within the Infrastructure Team, the EB Technology Team, other EB Departments, as well as 3rd party vendors for project management, issue resolution, and support.
Education, Qualifications & Experience:
- 10 years of technical management experience required
- 8+ years experience with technical design & architecture of unified collaboration services & workplace productivity solutions.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Ability to create a clear strategic vision for information technology that supports business objectives
- Able to work collaboratively with diverse leaders, communicate an IT vision and strategy across all levels of the organization, and build consensus around key initiatives and projects
- Experience managing of Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD solutions & technology
- Experience managing a hybrid M365 environment, M365 suite & SharePoint
- Experience with MDM solutions
- Experience with ServiceNow
- Solid track record of delivering production infrastructure in a hybrid cloud, driving the adoption of new technologies, managing vendor relationships, scaling teams & achieving results
- Experience in growing and building diverse & inclusive teams, working with partners, and collaborating across organization boundaries
- Ability to handle ambiguity, drive consensus & communicate well with both technical and non-technical co-workers
- Excellent communication & writing skills
- Experience building and leading a geographically distributed team
- Experience driving multi-project roadmaps
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Minimal travel requirement
The anticipated annual base salary for this position in the US is $185,000 to $215,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
