Job Description: Senior Treasury Supervisor/ Assistant Manager

Position Overview: The Treasury person manages the organization's financial resources to ensure optimal liquidity, risk management, and operational efficiency across multiple currencies and countries. This role involves strategic planning, cash flow forecasting, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance within a multinational and multicurrency environment.

Key Responsibilities

Cash and Liquidity Management:

Oversee daily cash flow management and optimize cash utilization across various countries and currencies.
Ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational and strategic requirements.
Monitor and manage intercompany transfers and funding requirements.

Foreign Exchange (FX) And Risk Management

Develop and implement strategies to mitigate foreign exchange risks, including hedging activities.
Monitor global FX markets and advise management on currency trends and potential impacts.
Ensure compliance with FX regulations in all operating countries.

Banking And Financial Relationships

Manage relationships with global and regional banking partners.
Negotiate banking services, credit facilities, and transaction fees.
Optimize banking structures to support efficient operations.

Treasury Operations

Oversee payment processing, reconciliations, and treasury-related systems.
Implement and maintain robust controls over treasury processes.
Support corporate initiatives such as mergers, acquisitions, and expansions.

Reporting And Analysis

Prepare regular treasury reports, including cash position, forecasts, and FX exposure.
Analyze financial data to support decision-making by senior management.
Ensure adherence to reporting requirements in different jurisdictions.

Regulatory Compliance

Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international financial regulations.
Keep up-to-date with changes in regulations affecting treasury functions.

Leadership And Collaboration

Lead and develop a treasury team to achieve organizational goals.
Collaborate with finance, operations, and legal teams to align treasury strategies with overall business objectives.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or equivalent (preferred).
Minimum of 7-10 years of treasury experience in a multinational company.
Proven experience managing funds across multiple currencies and countries.
Strong background in FX risk management and global cash management.
Expertise in treasury management systems (TMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, or similar platforms.
Advanced knowledge of financial instruments and hedging strategies.
Proficiency in financial analysis and cash flow forecasting.
Familiarity with global banking practices and financial regulations.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
