Job description

Status: Full-Time 40 hours/week

Work Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM AEDT (7:00 AM - 4:00 AM PHT)

Role Objective

To provide comprehensive financial and accounting support to ensure accurate financial records, efficient accounts management, and timely completion of key financial tasks. This role is critical in maintaining the financial health of the organization by performing essential functions such as account preparation, reconciliation, payroll management, and support in month-end activities, contributing to a streamlined and efficient accounting process.

Job Responsibilities

  • Preparation of financial accounts for all types & sizes of entities including review of accounts with subsequent adjustments.
  • Perform accounts receivable, payable and cash flow
  • Perform bank and loan reconciliation
  • Preparing and sending invoice
  • Payroll Management
  • Assist month end closing activities including GL recons
  • Accounts and record keeping
  • Perform any Adhoc related tasks including Data entry, Data Management
  • Fast paced work environment requiring adherence to timely completion of routine work

Job Qualifications

  • Candidates with MYOB / Xero / Australian accounting experience will be preferred
  • Accounting experience in Business Central will be viewed as a distinct advantage
  • Proven experience as Bookkeeper/Accountant
  • Great attention to details
  • Medium to advanced skills in Excel and MS Office
  • Can work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
  • Superior time management skills, high level numeracy skills, with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
  • Critical and analytical thinking
